The spirit of togetherness and joy was alive and well during the FAAZMIAR Family Day on December 7th and 8th, held at the beautiful Avillion Admiral Cove. This fun-filled event brought our employees and their loved ones together for a weekend of laughter, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories.
Telematch Fun for All Ages
The excitement kicked off with a telematch designed to engage everyone — from the young at heart to the truly young! Participants aged 5 to 60+ joined in on the fun games, including:
- Waterfall Next to You (Adults/Children)
- Waterbomb Catcher (Adults)
- Sponge & Squeeze (Adults/Children)
- Ping Pong Race (Adults/Children)
- Step-On-It (Adults/Children)
Congratulations to Team 2 for claiming the championship, led by the dynamic duo Paktep and Kak Su!
After the telematch, everyone enjoyed a delightful buffet lunch at the Traders Shop Restaurant before checking into their rooms for a well-deserved rest. The beach later welcomed many families for a serene evening by the waves, soaking in the sunset.
Family Dinner & Childhood Nostalgia
At 7:30 PM, everyone gathered at the Bougainvillea Cafe for our themed Family Dinner, dressed in costumes inspired by their favorite childhood cartoons. The night began with an opening speech from our CEO, Mr. Abd Hamid Ahmad, who emphasized the importance of hard work and expressed hope for a prosperous future filled with rewarding projects for all employees.
The agenda for the evening was packed with joy and entertainment:
- Opening Prayer led by Eswadi
- Dinner Time with delicious food and great company
- Lucky Draw Round 1, featuring prizes like AEON vouchers, badminton rackets, a holiday package to Lost World of Tambun, a gold bar, and an oven
- Performance by ‘Kugiran Purnama’, showcasing the musical talents of our interns
- Fashion Show for both adults and kids
- Lucky Draw Round 2 and a staff gift exchange
The highlight of the evening was the Grand Lucky Draw, where lucky winners walked away with incredible prizes like an iPad, a PS5, and an Ego Avantiz Scooter. The night wrapped up with a joyful photo session at 11 PM, capturing smiles and cherished memories.
Teambuilding: Tough Nation Challenge
The fun continued the next morning with a hearty breakfast at Traders Shop Restaurant before everyone geared up for the Teambuilding Event at Tough Nation. Under the blazing sun, teams competed in the thrilling Avillion Explorace, tackling 12 exciting tasks such as:
- Catching a grasshopper
- Building a sandcastle
- Collecting casuarina fruits
- Gathering quirky items like mosquitoes and crabs
Teams also participated in creative Marshall Games to earn bonus points, testing teamwork, patience, and creativity. Congratulations to Group 4, led by Hafiy, for taking the crown! Team members Fazrul, Redzuan, Aimi, Afiqah, Dr. Arina, and Nik gave it their all.
